The Principles of Dog Training II is a continuation of Michael Ellis’s first Principles of Dog Training online course. The course picks up directly where the first course left off. This course contains 179 Instructor Content videos and 120 student videos, totaling to 10 hours of content to watch. This course is made up of a mixture of Michael Ellis lectures and individual training with select students.
In Michael's first course students developed a strong foundation and communication system with their dog. We are now going to build on that foundation and take your training to the next level. In this course students will learn how to take the skills learned in the first course and apply them to more advanced behaviors and situations. Students will learn how to chain exercises together in order to develop more advanced obedience behaviors. We will start by adding in the last 3 position changes that were not covered in the first course. From there you will learn how to achieve focused heeling with your dog, a formal retrieve, the jumps, advanced recall work, finishing work, and finally loose walking.
This course has 6 modules and several segments, including a student video segment, per module.
